Mini abdominoplasty
Removes lower-abdominal skin below the navel for postpartum laxity. It is simpler and recovers quickly; a cesarean scar can be reused when covered by excess tissue.

Q&A
One night of hospitalization is recommended. A drain is removed after 3–6 days according to output. Recovery depends on the amount of liposuction and tissue removal; daily life usually resumes after seven days. All sutures are removed within 1–2 weeks, and alcohol, smoking, sauna and exercise can resume after one month. Surgery reduces subcutaneous fat and loose skin but not visceral fat, so ongoing exercise and diet are required for weight control.
All surgery leaves scars. The aim is to minimize and conceal them. Abdominoplasty leaves a relatively long scar, but it sits below the underwear line and is hidden by underwear or swimwear. Scar care also affects the final result. REAL follows healing and may provide postoperative laser treatment to optimize the outcome.
It does not change the surgical result itself but can support faster recovery. Wearing it for 2–4 weeks is recommended, depending on treatment amount and area.
